I know it's harder to get to on the 570, but with my machine it's less than 5 minutes to get it up and running if it's the plug. "There are no problems. New to Polaris and EFI. Have 08 sportsman 800. It's fuel injected and you can jump across the solenoid and it will turn over that way but it's not firing and I'm getting power to the solenoid when you turn the key but it won't turn over and I replaced the solenoid along with a programmable ecm that's a plug in play ecm. Mar 30, 2020 · it does get spark and fuel. after hepl with troubleshooting i found the the ECM connector was burnt at the connector point. id di replace the ECM and the entire wire harness. but it did not fix it. it still cranks but will not start. when the engine cranks with the key , the engine sound good with no internal noise.

You have to find out when your spark plug is firing if it is firing when its top dead center magneto key should be fine but if not firing top dead center you have problem. From there it should hold pressure and the pump should run while cranking to keep pressure to the system. If the pump doesn't run for about 3 seconds when you cycle the key on, then you need to find out why. Sometimes it's just a faulty relay or a bad connection. If the pump is getting power but still don't spool up when you cycle the key, then the pump is bad.
