This case will hold up to 7 spinning rods and up to 10 conventional rods, you will need to add form padding to both end of the case to prevent bent rod tip. I brought the Plano Airliner 6508 to Panama. Pull the solid into the hollow 3' and pull a foot of Solid out the side wall at the end of the splice. This isn't needed for strength but is used to form a safety. Tie the Uni safety an inch beyond where the solid exits the splice.
